Online Notebook Order - DUE July 14, 2009
Students are advised to review and print this page before proceeding with notebook selection. Please note that the online notebook ordering system is maintained by the university IT store on campus, UBMicro.

Instructions
Please read and print the following instructions before proceeding to the online notebook ordering system.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
1. Your order will be shipped directly to the School of Dental Medicine where your computer will be customized per School of Dental Medicine requirements. The system requires you to create an account. You may enter the email address you are using now--it does not have to be your buffalo.edu email address to continue. To ensure you will not be charged shipping, please be sure to change the "Ship options:" to "Pick up at UBMicro" on the Your cart page.
2. After submitting your order, you will be leaving the UBMicro site and directed to a secure payment processing site. After entering your credit card information, click "Create Customer Profile". This will redirect you back to UBMicro where you will be prompted to print the receipt for your records.
3. Process your notebook order with a VALID CREDIT CARD to hold your order. Your credit card will not be billed until notebook distribution during SDM orientation on August 6, 2009. If you want to use multiple credit cards, or use another form of payment for your order, contact UBMicro at (716) 645-3554 after submitting your order. (Note: Debit cards and Personal Checks are not accepted as a form of payment)
4. All credit cards will be charged August 6, 2009, unless UBMicro was contacted with alternate payment options.
5. Select one of the required notebook packages: Students may select (1) out of (4) options. As part of the required notebook package, a free printer is included. Students who do not want the printer will receive a $25 gift card from UB micro for use toward a future purchase.
6. Special Promotional Rebate Offer with required package: We are pleased to announce that each student from the Class of 2013 will receive a full rebate for an Apple 8GB iPod Touch. Please note that rebates can be submitted after the transaction has occurred on August 6, 2009. Students must complete the on-line-rebate as directed on Apple’s website. The School of Dental Medicine is developing applications for use in the clinic and classroom where the iPod Touch will be used. It is expected students will retain the iPod for use throughout the DDS program.
How to purchase:
Step 1: To place your notebook order, go to: http://www.ubmicrosuny.com/SDMWelcome.php
Step 2: Select the required notebook, with either MAC or VISTA as your primary operating system
Step 3: Check off any optional accessories and click "Add to Cart" to order.
Step 4: Carefully review your order
Step 5: Click "Checkout" and follow the directions on the screen
