Social Events Sign-Up - DUE July 24, 2009

Dear Members of the Class of 2013:

The Class of 2012 would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend some great social events that we have been planning to help you get to know each other during orientation. The UB School of Dental Medicine Alumni Association has graciously provided funding for part of the cost of these events, specifically towards the picnic and Dave and Buster’s events. This sponsorship allows us to offer the social events at a reduced cost of $40. This fee will cover all of the following events: a picnic at Ellicott Creek Park, pizza and ice cream social for you plus 1 guest, bowling, a night out at SOHO (downtown Buffalo), Dave and Buster’s fun and games, food and drinks at an upperclassmen house, a barbeque for lunch, and an afternoon of lawn games and fun on south campus. Also included is a buffet lunch at Banchetti by Rizzo’s on Family Day after the White coat ceremony, and your whole family is invited! A flyer outlining these events in more detail is posted on the orientation website under "Orientation Schedules - First Year Social Event Schedule". You are welcome to bring guests to these events and we will have individual tickets available during orientation.

Please register for the social events package in advance, so we can get an accurate attendance estimate. Kristen Lawson, Class of 2012, is collecting the money. Last year 98% of our class bought the entire package prior to orientation! We had an awesome turn out to all the events and had a blast! Make sure you get yours now so you can come out, have fun, and get to know your new classmates!
